Waste water purification

Purification allows foreign substances or pollutants to be removed from water. The main actions are mechanical, chemical-physical and biological.
Water purification can concern:
- treatment of urban waste;
- treatment of industrial effluents
Some of the results that can be achieved are: removal of ammonia, nitrogen, sulphur, metals in solution and elimination of phosphates.
All processes involved in the purification cycle are none other than the same as those that normally occur in nature, but maximised in speed and yield within the purification plant.
